ReSKILLING

Research initiative for Effects, Plans and SKILLs for Implementing Transport Automation with Employment Growth

Inspiration

INSPIRATION

ReSKILLING is designed to empower the CCAM ecosystem by responding to four strategic needs that are essential for Europe’s leadership in connected, cooperative and automated mobility:

  • Building cutting-edge, evidence-driven insights into the socioeconomic impacts of CCAM—especially its transformative effect on employment—so stakeholders can make informed, future-proof decisions.
  • Boosting workforce excellence by equipping current and future professionals with the advanced skills and knowledge required to thrive in the rapidly evolving CCAM sector.
  • Strengthening Europe’s competitive edge, ensuring sustained growth, quality jobs and global leadership in next-generation mobility solutions.

Creating forward-looking governance models that enhance collaboration, unlock synergies, and enable true co-creation among all key players across the value chain.

INNOVATION

Bringing together 20 leading partners from the CCAM, education, skills development, and social innovation communities, ReSKILLING goes far beyond technological innovation. It places people at the centre of the transition, adopting a social-innovation–driven approach to ensure that CCAM creates real value for society.

Through an in-depth analysis of CCAM professions and dynamic engagement with diverse stakeholders, the project integrates Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) principles at every stage. The ReSKILLING Co-Innovation Framework empowers partners to co-create sustainable, context-specific solutions that strengthen Europe’s mobility workforce and ecosystem.
