COSTANTINI Andrea

About

"I’ve been chasing clouds and measuring the temperature since I was a kid — some things never change!" I was born in Vittorio Veneto, a small Italian town of about 30,000 people, halfway between Venice and the Dolomites. I’ve been passionate about nature, weather, instruments, and technology since childhood, which led me to a Bachelor’s degree in Atmospheric Physics and Meteorology at the University of Bologna and certification as a meteorological technician (WMO 1083). In Italy, I created a non-profit project in the Pian Cansiglio area, installing panoramic 4G webcams and IoT meteorological stations via LoRaWAN. Curiosity, experimentation, and love for the mountains guide this work. Real-time pictures and data are here: https://www.piancansigliometeowebcam.it and https://stazioni.piancansigliometeowebcam.it I’m positive, curious, and open-minded. I love working in diverse teams, but I also enjoy organizing myself independently, managing multiple tasks, and meeting deadlines. Practical, precise, and proactive, I can adapt to challenging conditions — cold weather included! I really enjoy good food too (Nonna Nenetta and Pizza Giorgia occupy the podium!!) and the international environment here, where I can breathe a mix of cultures and ideas every day. After moving to Luxembourg, I’ve been actively integrating locally: since 2023, I’m a member of Zukunftsrot Metzeschmelz (Agora), and since 2025, I manage a small weather station in Belvaux (Sanem – Luxembourg) in the Jardins au Matgesfeld, with Gaart an Heem – Amis de la fleur Belvaux.
