My career spans Europe and Asia, where I have contributed to cross-sector R&D collaborations connecting academia and industry. My research work integrates polymer engineering, fiber spinning, and fiber-reinforced composite manufacturing, as well as additive manufacturing, to develop high-performance and sustainable materials and systems. I have worked in international and interdisciplinary collaborations across academia, industry, and government, contributing to projects on material and system development, polymeric composites, sustainability, and polymer processing. Alongside research, I am dedicated to teaching and mentorship. I have taught undergraduate mechanical engineering courses and supervised numerous BSc, MSc, and PhD students, fostering technical expertise, critical thinking, and research independence through constructive feedback and supportive guidance. My research focuses on sustainable composite materials for structural and functional applications, with an emphasis on circular design, eco-friendly polymer processing, multiscale interface modeling, additive manufacturing, and self-reinforced composite materials and interfaces. My work aims to bridge the gap between fundamental science and engineering practice, driving innovation in smart and sustainable technologies.
