About

I am an experimental researcher in the field of electronic properties of semiconductor nanostructures, with an experience of with 25+ years of experience in the field of fabrication and electronic properties of semiconductor nanostructures. After having developed activities in academic research in the domains of solid-state quantum physics at the CEA-Saclay (France), ETH Zürich (Switzerland) and IEMN-CNRS-Lille (France), I joined the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST, Luxembourg) in 2014 to conduct applied research activities on functional metal-oxide nanomaterials for sensing and optoelectronic applications. I have been leading several projects both in academic research and in collaboration with industrial partners (Webasto-Luxembourg, METLUX) and European agencies (ESA, EDA). Since 2024, I am coordinating the Horizon Europe project AMUSENS involving 11 partners on developing an adaptable platform for multi-pixel gas sensors to target a wide range of applications.
