ZORZAN Simone

About

Bioinformatician, master degree in computer science, PhD in biotechnology with plants orientation, both from the Verona University in Italy. I have been working at the LIST for 8 years as a Research Associate. First with the Envinfo, then Plantech and now Downstream processing. I have many years of expertise in bioinformatic tools and resources, multi-omics data integration and analysis, software development, data pipelines, machine learning, HPC, etc. Currently, working on modeling downstream processing, developing tools for LC-GC MS/MS. I am quite flexible, I have been working with many ERIN colleagues, several ITIS colleagues and I have a significant experience and contacts around space research, as in 2018 I was at NASA for the summer for a space-AI project (ESRIC, "I speak your language ^__~" ). I can do many things with a computer, so if you find yourself in need, we can have a chat.

Mission

Currently, I am in charge of work packages in internal projects. Might get a CORE Junior next year. Looking forward to collaborating and putting my computational skills at service for LIST projects.
