The exponential growth of interconnected systems, digital infrastructures and disruptive technologies such as AI, blockchain, 5G/6G and quantum computing are reshaping the cybersecurity landscape. While these innovations create unprecedented opportunities, they also bring new vulnerabilities. Critical infrastructures and digital systems require advanced protection mechanisms capable of addressing increasingly sophisticated threats, ensuring trust, resilience, and compliance in an evolving regulatory and technological environment.
The Cybersecurity group aims to tackle emerging cybersecurity challenges for critical infrastructures and digital systems. Its mission is to design and deliver innovative cybersecurity solutions that leverage disruptive technologies while minimizing the risks they may introduce. The group works at the intersection of research, regulation and innovation, with a strong focus on technology transfer to fill existing market gaps. By collaborating with both public and private partners, it aims to strengthen digital trust, resilience and regulatory compliance at European and international levels.
