CANTU SALAZAR Lisette

About

I am an ecologist interested in conservation biogeography, ecology and biodiversity monitoring. I have a degree in Biology, a Master degree in Ecology and Natural Resource Management and a PhD with a focus on Macroecology and the performance of protected areas for biodiversity. My scientific output has been mainly in the domains of zoology, conservation biology and wildlife ecology, and my main research interests are on the determinants of the distribution of different levels of biodiversity and the performance of conservation instruments. I am also interested on the application of new monitoring methods for biodiversity. I currently coordinate the implementation of the national monitoring programme of wild pollinators in Luxembourg, funded by the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Sustainable Development.
