Unit: Smart Materials
Group: Chemical Processing of Transducer Materials
I obtained my MSc degree in Engineering Physics from Politecnico di Milano, and I carried out my master’s thesis at ETH Zurich. I am currently conducting my doctoral research at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) in the Chemical Processing of Transducer Materials (CPTM) group. Working at the interface of fundamental materials science and technological applications is the central motivation of my research. My work focuses on the synthesis, processing, and characterization of ferroelectric HfO2 thin films using chemical solution deposition, with the goal of developing piezoelectric devices. In parallel, I have strong entrepreneurial aspirations and am actively working on a spin-off project with LIST Ventures, called DELVE, aimed at building an end-to-end data analytics platform for R&D teams.
