Post doctoral research fellow with the Visualisation and Interaction Research Group in IT for Innovative Services (ITIS), LIST. Currently working on DASH project in partnership with Goodyear S.A., looking at objective and subjective metrics to measure cognitive load in drivers. My past research focused on automated vehicles, and I have worked and collaborated in multi-partner projects such as the Innovate UK's HumanDrive project, and Horizon 2020 funded L3Pilot project, during my PhD. During my previous post-doc position at University of Leeds, I conducted research on applying sensor fusion techniques using physiological and eye-tracking sensors, to understand and predict drivers' cognitive load and consequent performance decrement at driving task, if and when they had to resume manual control of the vehicle, from highly automated driving.
Working on DASH project and associated project partners. Developing new methodology to understand and measure changes in drivers' cognitive load, according to DASH project specifications
