I obtained an MSc from Cranfield University in Water and Wastewater Technology as well as an Engineering Degree in Chemistry from the Ecole Nationale Superieure de Chimie de Rennes in 2008. I then completed my PhD in Civil Engineering at the University of Birmingham with a thesis on “Metals behaviour in anaerobic sludge digesters supplemented with trace metals to enhance biogas production”. I continued at the University of Birmingham as a postdoctoral researcher for 4 years, before joining Blue Sky Bio ltd as R&D manager. I joined LIST in 2020 and I am currently a Lead R&T Engineer in the Microbial biotechnology group. My core research areas are: - Anaerobic digestion: optimization of anaerobic bioreactors through trace element availability, feedstock pre-treatment and reactor design. - Wastewater treatment: anaerobic bioprocess for decentralized solution, removal of micropollutant / AMR. - Digestate: recovery and valorisation of nutrient and valuable coumpounds such as humic substances.
